In the spirit of community, we know that many families with young children in Leelanau struggle to afford the costs of fresh fruits and vegetables. If you are able and interested in helping to purchase a CSA share for a local family with young children in need, we will use contributions to sponsor as many CSA shares as possible. We plan to work with the Leelanau Christian Neighbors and/or Leelanau Children's Center to identify families in need.
Any amount is gratefully accepted. 100% of contributions received will be used for helping families in need. $35 provides one regular share for one week to a family. Select a quantity of 12 to sponsor a family for an entire 12 week CSA season, or 18 for 18 weeks.
