6 Week (9/1-10/15) Flower Bouquet Subscription
This 6 Week Option maks a great add-om to the 6 Week Vegetable Share (9/1-10/15), which corresponds with the last 6 weeks of our 18 Week Summer Veggie Share.
Our flowers are grown using organic practices, with natural fertilizers like compost. In order to guarantee a variety of flowers throughout the season, we are continually planting seeds all season long. Some of the flowers we grow include ageratum, bupleurum, bachelor's buttons, bells of Ireland, celosia, cosmos, craspedia, dahlias, foxglove, sea holly, eucalyptus, gomphrena, lisianthus, feverfew, orlaya, love-in-a-mist, rudbeckia, scabiosa, snapdragons, statice, stock, strawflower, sunflowers, and zinnias.
In order to help ensure a long vase life, we harvest flowers early in the morning and condition them in walk in cooler. Depending on the type of flowers, bouquets generally last one to two weeks.
The 12 Week Share tentatively begins the week of June 9th and runs through August 30th, 2025. The 18 Week Share runs through October 11th. Flowers in September will feature sunflowers, lisianthus, celosia, zinnia and more. Once the frost takes our our field flowers we will have dried flower arrangements - which will last all winter!
